Welcome

My name is Sarah Gross and I am a speech therapist and social communication specialist. I provide compassionate and personalized support for neurodiverse children, teens, and adults. My speech therapy practice embraces the diverse ways individuals communicate and strives to help them connect with others while nurturing a positive self-identity.

Whether I am one-on-one with a client or coaching parents on how to support their child, my central viewpoint is that people are not “broken” and as a therapist, I am not a “fixer.” I am here to empower my clients to communicate effectively in their everyday lives by building upon strengths, incorporating interests, and celebrating individuality.

My services focus on what leads to a better life, not what makes my client look “typical.”

Sarah Gross, SLPD, CCC-SLP

Doctor of Speech-Language Pathology & Social Communication Specialist

I am a dedicated speech therapist with over 12 years of experience working in hospital and private practice settings. Along with my clinical work, I also lecture at California State University Los Angeles and co-direct "ASD Clubs," which creates social opportunities for autistic tweens and teens based on common interests. I love working with neurodivergent individuals and their families! At Sarah Gross Speech Pathology, my goal is to help my clients joyfully, authentically, and successfully communicate with others. I love connecting with each client, learning and getting excited about their own interests and passions to inform our work together. Neurodivergent people are not "broken," and my role is not to make them "fit in" or look like everyone else. Instead, I focus on their unique communication style and what is meaningful to them to allow them to more actively participate in their lives. I love to learn and am always seeking out new research, trainings, and sources of lived experience to expand my knowledge and therapeutic skills. My clients serve as some of my most valuable teachers. I am so glad you found my practice and I look forward to getting to know you and your family.
